Casa Toushi
A delicate space full of memories, inspired by Chinese architecture. For this project by architect Bruno Carvalho for Duratex at CasaCor SP 2025, we created artistic interferences and objects that dialogue with the space in a delicate and poetic way, fully integrating with the materials, textures and tones used in it. Pieces such as a sculpture symbolising a branch that intertwines with the living room bookshelf, from which pure silver leaves are born in the shape of Ginko leaves, a sacred tree in oriental culture. There are also large books bound in the oriental style, a long pure silver handle with bas-relief designs for a black ceramic teapot by ceramicist Lilian Malta in the tea ceremony area and a hand-blown glass dome that protects the opaline figures of two geese.
