Light, unique pieces
We design and produce luminaires for specific projects, as single pieces or in small series. Using matt natural brass, ceiling lights that look like upside down lampshades occupying the ceiling of a corridor, or to be installed on walls allowing them to be moved, with light sifted by natural parchment domes or by old maps and printed matter discovered in bookshops around the world. Also assemblages of naked and weathered Japanese dolls, with a red dome on the head that looks like it belongs to a cabaret in Kyoto, or with a base that reproduces little overlapping bones where a dome delicately sewn by hand with tea-dyed fabric hangs. Or reused laboratory glassware, from its interior emanates light reflecting gold leaf or the memory of the volcanic sand of a black beach.
